MAC Ebony Eyeliner

MAC has launched a range of eyeliners like MAC Teddy, MAC Smoulder, MAC feline, etc., which are very popular among fashion geeks. Honestly speaking, I was having an eye over the MAC products since very long time. This time I am scanning the MAC Ebony eyeliner pencil. As per the claims made by MAC, the ebony eyeliner pencil is a soft colored pencil, that defines the eye with rich color and smooth matte finish. Lets find out how true are the claims.

Packaging & look:

The MAC Ebony eyeliner pencil is black wooden pencil covered with blackish grey plastic cap. It always need a sharpener (specially if you are travelling, because the consistency is creamy) and moreover for good application, it needs to be sharpen to sneak point.

Texture & feel:

The most important part of the review, honestly speaking, is not that jet black kajal, rather its on the edge of softness in terms of color. The texture is creamy, non irritable to the eyelid (for few brands, irritation starts on inner eyelid after some time). It glides in smoothly while applying, to create that sharp kajal look. Sometimes I even use this eye-pencil to create a soft smokey look (smudging with brush).

My verdict, my way:

To me, claims made by MAC have proven correct. It is really very easy to apply on the go. It is well blend of grey and black, obviously not that jet black. It has got a good staying power, even removing it is also very easy compared to other kajals (nothing against any specific brand though). The only negative point is the price, its quite high for a eyeliner pencil. For me, its the first product from MAC and I am going to try more products from MAC for sure.
