Resolution granules

HAPPY NEW YEAR 🙂 🙂 Everyone….

Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.

— Carl Bard

Honestly speaking, I am not a big fan of making new year resolutions in general because what happens is we tend to set big list of things to do (some of them being unrealistic) and end up somewhere in the middle. Somehow we get involved in our busy lives so much that hardly any one cares about them, its the bitter truth actually.

Yes, I do believe in making life better year by year with small realistic changes. I don’t know whether these small things comes under the resolution bucket list or not. But I keep on reevaluating myself for these small changes year by year in an attempt to be a improved person. Last year was an amazing one for self discovery, a great one where I did what I liked, took out time for myself, in short did what I love. Most importantly, it was full of thoughts and decision of starting up the blog and at the end I started what I planned to do in 2012 yes……. BLOGGING.  A big thanks to all the readers for this stonking success which I got in these initial days of the blog setup. Hope it will keep growing. 🙂

This time I thought I would share with you guys, the factors helpful for the survival of any resolutions according to me.

  1. Marking the positives: Yes, no one can deny the truth that we all get rejected in one or the other way. There is rarely anyone you will find in this universe who would like rejection, but yes there is a way to deal with it. The only way to overcome rejection is to find out the positives out of it. Instead of feeling unaccepted, ashamed and tking it personal make it a staircase for your success. Every rejection teaches to identify one’s strength and weakness, a sense to overcome the negatives. Rejection to me is a deal of perspective, staying confident and determined. Even in our school time we were taught to learn from our mistakes, make it an oppurtunity of learning. What matters is how you approve yourself, rejection from outerworld is immaterial.

Live your life for you, not for anyone else. Don’t let the fear of being judged, rejected or disliked stops you from being yourself.

  2. Love yourself: Life is a very beautiful thing, miracle of this universe and each one of us should treasure it happily. Everyone in this world have problems and you are not the only one with some issues, so stop betraying yourself first. Stop overthinking and taking every negative situation upon yourself. Instead of losing hope and being so dramatic, try to live your life with colors. Live it in a way that it becomes a blessing to others and for yourself as well.

Nobody can hurt me without my permission.

    — Mahatama Gandhi

  3. Motivate yourself: Honestly speaking, there are days in life when it seems life has no lust left in it and some people start victimizing themselves, yes it happens. And somedays you feel yourself motivated. Life is full of ups and down, no matter what the situation is, one has to find the inner drive that keeps you going. A life with no purpose leads to unhappiness in the person. So setup your goals, do what you want, keep creating purpose in your life. Start by setting up with some small goal, let your inner zeal to catch up the momentum. Another important thing is the people around you, make some distance from people with negative vibes. Whenever you feel like quitting just make a question to yourself, why you started?? You will get your answer 🙂 . Just remember,

No one can motivate you to do anything. You motivate yourself based on information you recieve and how directly you can relate it to yourown potential achievement.

    — Mark Barnes.

  4. Stay healthy: Health is precious. Everyone should take it seriously and always follow the basics. Everyone should adhere themselves to a healthy lifestyle and the basic mantra, which is to eat healthy and exercise well. Be wise and make some healthy food choices for yourself and be active.

He who has health, has hope; and he who has hope, has everything.

    — Arabian proverb.

These are the basic granules which I think one should focus in their lives day after day and I am sure if one considers these basics first, you can surely fulfill any of your new year resolution.

Nothing is impossible. The word itself says, I’m possible.
