Kajal, Love of every girl… We all know that kajal is quite popular among women in asia, and middle east since ages. Eyes are very expressive of one’s personality that adding depth and reshaping them gives an artistic expression to one’s look. The application of kajal/ eyeliner is there since very long time. But nowadays almost every girl is so obsessed with kajal that it has become a essential part of the makeup. There are number of eyeliners available in market these days with enomorous varities like kohl pencil, gel eyeliner, liquid eyelineror may be that sketch penkind of eyeliners. Every type of the stated kajal have their unique use in giving a respective look, like I prefer kohl pencil for a simple look, for a glamorous smokey eyes I prefer gel eyeliners and for creating that wingy look I would prefer the liquid or sketch eyeliner.

I had already blogged on the kajal pencil from MAC The EBony eyeliner. This time I am going to review the very popular gel eyeliner from L’oreal. There are various gel eyeliners available from various popular brands like MAC, Maybelline, Bobbi Broen etc. but today I will be highlighting about the L’oreal gel eyeliner(nothing promotional, its just my personal pick).

Whta L’oreal claims about this product is that its a long lasting waterproof gel eyeliner with bold color results with good staying power. It is claimed to be quick drying and smudge free that last upto 24 hours. Now lets see how true are the claims.

Packaging & look:

It comes in a sleek black box with matte covering with a tint of gold in alphabets. Inside the box is glass pot containing the product with golden cap and yes it comes with a applicating brush as well. You can find this eyeliner in other colors as well like brown, eggplant. It is priced 875INR in India and for 10$ in USA for 2.8gm.

Texture & feel:

The texture I must say is super creamy(as compared to some budget brands). I must say its really good and fine when it comes to application. It sunks in well onto the brush and smoothly glides into the waterline. It gives a glossy finish and the brush which comes along is decent and has got soft feathers on it. Although I prefer eyeliner brush from Urban decay over this brush which is just my personal choice otherwise this brush also serves good. Yes it is smudge free, you need some eyemakeup remover to remove it smoothly. The color payoff is good and gives the jet black look in one stroke.
