Adornment, What a science! Beauty, What a weapon! Modesty, What a elegance!

Pencil skirts are more that just a trendy pick. You can see from my recent posts, my obsession about pencil skirts. I promise you will always find a regularity in such posts about styling this never dying trend. It’s more than a fashion thing. It’s the mid length skirts which are in town these days. The pencil silhouette obviously gives a very feminine look which accentuate the curves. Any outwear can compliment skirts due to their ultra girlish nature. The craze of these skirts can be seen in town everywhere which are available in many styles, cuts and prints. Whether it’a Kim Kardashian, Miley Cyrus or Deepika Padukone every celebrity are under the influence of this trend and why not!!

I was looking for the sequinned skirt for a while with some bright color (golden and silver are nowadays counted to be regular colors with sequin). Finally, I noticed this chic in green color, a perfect staple for holiday party, casual parties and even perfect for a romantic date, girls night out in town. Sequinned skirts can be styled in many ways from a casual top, cozy knitwear, party top, plaid shirts to denim ones as well. In today’s post I will be featuring the semi casual look of sequinned skirts. So, I styled the sequinned skirt from Dorothy Perkins with a ruffle top from Harpa(available on Myntra) and block heel from Carlton London . I chose not to go with any neckpiece because the ruffle layer are serving the purpose and watch from Fastrack.

Here’s my look:

Truely said,

Be dramatic. When getting dressed, think of the day as your stage and your wardrobe as your costume. Fashion is all about self expression, so why not take on a new identity for the day.”

I will be coming up with the formal side of styling the sequinned skirts in further upcoming blogs.

Till then,
